LadySports ::: XMAS CRACKER!

December the 4th of 2004 saw a day of wrestling excitement the likes of which Manchester, England has rarely seen! On that day, Pippa L'Vinn hosted her second live event, "Xmas Cracker," bringing together some of the best professional and amateur grapplers in the United Kingdom, and now all of the action is collected for your pleasure!

In the first match, Sue Scarlett, dressed appropriately in red, takes on Wildkat in an amateur bout. Blonde Sue has the edge in experience, but the brunette newcomer is aggressive, and she really takes the fight to her opponent. Sue is a crowd favorite, but Wildkat really impresses the spectators with her skill and attitude. Multiple falls in this one until an ultimate winner is declared.

The second match is the historic PGWA Championship battle between Pippa L'Vinn and Awesome Anne, who is making her return to the ring wars following a long sabbatical to tend an injured knee. And, not surprisingly, wicked Pippa targets that knee again and again, not simply trying to force her larger, more powerful rival to submit, but to drive Anne into permanent retirement! But Anne's long experience and raw power give the champ all that she can handle, and then some!

Next is a pro match between two beautiful newcomers, Courtney and Angel. From the very first, dark-haired Angel tries to bully her larger blonde foe, and she often has Courtney in dire straits, particularly when the malicious Angel strikes at her opponent's legs and knees. It's often all Courtney can do at times to prevent from being pinned. But the blonde eventually battles back, and the advantage seesaws between the two as they pull out all of the stops to win!

If you thought a fitness demonstration was nothing more then flexing one's arms, Storm proves otherwise as she puts her body, looking as if it were sculpted by Michaelangelo, on display. You'll be entranced by every curve of her form as she flexes her muscles for you!

Sue Scarlett steps back between the ropes, this time to wrestle young pro rising star Honey, who is widely hailed as one of the most beautiful women in British grappling (references to her as the "Keira Knightley of wrestling" are not exaggerations!). Honey is just back from a tour of Japan, and she and Sue fight it out in a contest to see who can force the most submissions. Both blondes are left screaming in pain more than once as each work arms and legs, lock in crushing scissors, and basically do their best to humble the other!

Not only is Awesome Anne an accomplished pro, but she's also a champion amateur wrestler, and she steps back on the mat to remind everyone of that as she is matched against Wildkat. Anne is as good as ever, but the brunette newcomer surprises everyone by giving the veteran blonde a tremendous challenge, and the final victory comes down to the wire between them!

The L'Vinn/Beach feud adds another brutal chapter as Pippa teams with the Iron Duke and Shelby is paired with Ian "Mad Dog" Wilson in a pro mixed tag match! Not surprisingly, Pippa (dressed as Xena!) and her partner don't have much respect for the rules, and more than once the Iron Duke, cad that he is, hammers away at Shelby! The action is fast and furious, and the ending is a genuine shocker! And as if that isn't enough, the losing lady is so unhappy with their defeat, she literally throws her male partner bodily out of the ring and drives him out of the hall!

Shelby Beach and Jodie Lee face one another in a rematch from an earlier match. Under ordinary circumstances, Shelby is usually the most powerful woman in the ring, but in this instance, ring legend Jodie matches the younger blonde blow for mighty blow! Shelby really steps up and proves her talents, and she gives the veteran a true test. The winner truly has to work for her victory in this one!

The response from the lucky fans in attendance was that "Xmas Cracker" was a triumph, and now you can see what all of the accolades were about, all in the comfort of your own home!
